Custom Pool Construction & Renovation FAQs
Planning a new custom swimming pool or high-end pool renovation involves more than you might think. You’re likely to have questions along the way that you didn’t consider in the beginning.
Watters Aquatech has compiled detailed answers below to the most common pool construction FAQs and questions we receive about the custom pool design and pool building process in Las Vegas. If we don’t answer your question here, give us a call or contact us online. We’re always happy to help you with your pool project.
What services do you offer?
We offer custom pool building and pool renovation services to homeowners throughout the Vegas Valley, including non-pool features like fireplaces and firepits, bars, entertainment centers, and more. We also offer pool repair services to existing customers and reliable warranties designed to protect your investment for years to come.
How can I make my pool safer for my children and pets?
When it comes to your family, safety is our top priority. Here are a few ways our team keeps you and your guests safe:
- Per current pool building codes, any door that opens into the pool area is required to have a door alarm.
- Building codes also require all pool gates to be top latched and swing outwards to prevent child access from outside the pool area.
- All pools are required to have a bench or method of egress in the deep end for pool access out of the deep end.
- For customers with little kids around who want additional peace of mind, we can also provide a removable mesh baby fence to serve as another barrier between the pool and your home.
What is the process for choosing materials for my pool design?
Our custom pool journey follows a meticulous eight-step design and construction process. Once we get a rendition of your design complete, we’ll meet so you can review your proposed design. During that meeting, we’ll discuss materials and color preferences. We’ll also propose materials alongside your design that can be adjusted to create a pool that’s uniquely yours.
Who will oversee my project?
Dustin Watters and his focused, in-house team and vendor partners will oversee your project until completion to produce the best result.

I called Russ Watters for help with my pool which was having serious problems with chemical balance. I needed the water drained and refilled, the plaster needed to be acid washed, my tile was stained and my filter was shot. Russ hooked me up and my pool is like new. No matter the size of your pool, large or small, Watters Aquatech can handle it.Posted on Caroline GreeneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
